Ah 10 years, what an interesting band they are… with a sound and singer repeatedly described as being similar to Tool and A Perfect Circle, and although I ashamedly admit that I have listened to little of either bands, Ive found 10 Years to be an amazing band every time Ive picked up and listened to one of their albums. Just as an aside, I actually found their original independent release “Killing all that holds you” to be a much more engrossing album than their second release (and first major record release) “The Autumn Effect” and I would recommend to check that album out before/rather than Autumn Effect.

That being said, Division is their newest release and has set a new standard for them and I thoroughly enjoyed almost every second of it. I’m no music critic and im not going to rip it apart and examine it piece by piece, but I can recomend this album and you wont be disappointed by it.. trust me

I might have some more thoughts about it later this week since I only just had time to listen to the album for the first time yesterday (despite its release at the start of the month)

Also, Ill probably be posting a couple of similar mini-reviews/opinions on things over the next couple of days, most of them recently released, some other lesser known that I feel it is my duty to pimp them

Welcome to the edge of Madness

Not to be confused with Penny Arcade’s Rain-Slick Precipe of Darkness (which incidentally, I am playing through now and is quite an amusing/interesting game so far, Ill post more thoughts on it later).

This blog is a personal blog/outlet to the world for the many maddening, stupid, brilliant and entertaining ideas that swirl through the dark voids of my mind. Ill also be posting my thoughts on things such as Movies, Music and Video Games, emphasis being on the later as I am an aspiring game designer.

Speaking of which, I am frequently muddling around with map editors and other game related programs and ideas, so don’t be suprised to see any of them pop up here (and with many of the better ones being taken downs days afterwards for copyright infringe ).

Also, Ill probably be posting some of the more interesting things I stumble upon (metaphorically, not the annoying website) in my travels through this world wide eb of tubes we call the Internet.
